De TRIO EM CANTE interpreteert sinds 2012 de Cante van Alentejo in zijn essentie van sierlijke vocale stijl (de Cante Alentejano werd uitgeroepen tot immaterieel erfgoed in 2014). Samen met de allesomvattende pianoklanken, geven deze muzikanten de luisteraar een muzikale ervaring vol emotie en liturgische spiritualiteit.
EM CANTE weerspiegelt het landschap, de muziek en het leven van de mensen van Alentejo (Alentejo is een uitgestrekte streek van Zuid-Portugal).
De cd EM CANTE – Música do Alentejo wordt gepresenteerd tijdens het concert in de Amstelkerk, zaterdag a.s.!!! De cd zal worden verkocht in de pauze en aan het einde van het concert. Amílcar Vasques-Dias (pianist/componist), Joaquim Soares (stem) en Pedro Calado (stem) verheugen zich om uw cd te signeren!

The TRIO EM CANTE interprets, since 2012, the Cante from Alentejo in its essence of ornate vocal style (the Cante Alentejano was appointed as Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2014). Together with the encompassing sound of the piano, these musicians give the listener a musical experience full of emotion and liturgical spirituality.
EM CANTE reflects the landscape, the music, and the life of the people of Alentejo (Alentejo is an extensive region of southern Portugal).
The CD EM CANTE – Música do Alentejo will be released at the concert, at the Amstelkerk, next saturday!!! The CD will be sold at the interval and in the end of the concert.
